Declared Value(DV)

IMPORTANT

Most logistics companies have a maximum liability limit for loss, damage, delay or any other claim of any shipment to a fixed amount of money per shipment, unless the shipper declares a higher shipping value under the "Declared Value for Carriage" column and pays corresponding surcharge.

Note : The logistics center does not do conversion, only transparent transmission.

Optionally, you can specify the declaredInfo of each package in the shipment.

Different carriers have different requirements for the declaredInfo field.

  • FedEx
    For currency value/amount, only two explicit decimal places are allowed. Maximum limit is 5 digits before decimal.
    Intra canada shipments must have canadian dollars as carriage value currency.

  • UPS
    For currency required
    For currency value/amount, – required, 19-bit limit in documentation. Actual test digit range is (15, 10).
  • Evri
    For currency only support GBP, Passing other values is not valid.
    For currency value/amount, – Documents have no restrictions on this field.
  • Whitsl
    no information.
  • DPD_UK
    For currency only support GBP, Passing other values is not valid.
    For currency value/amount, – Range is [0, 5000.00]. digit range is (16, 12).
  • DPD_DE
    For currency value/amount, – digit range is (10, 2).
  • GLS
    no information.
  • GEL
    For currency only support EUR, Passing other values is not valid.
    For currency value/amount, – Range is [0, 50000.00].
  • AMAZON
    For currency must support the ISO 4217 format 3-character currency code.
    For currency value/amount, – Documents have no restrictions on this field.
